Doctors see chinks in vaccination armor: As parents opt out of getting shots for their children, diseases such as whooping cough and measles make a comeback when ‘herd immunity’ crumbles.”

Yep, all of the sudden kids just decided to start getting whooping cough for some unknown reason. What they aren’t telling you is that because they have allowed our borders to be overrun with illegal immigrants who carry and/or are sick with any number of diseases. They come to the U.S., they shop in our stores, frequent our restaurants, work in our businesses and spread disease.

As students return to middle schools and high schools in California this fall, they will need more than fresh notebooks and apples for their teachers. Thanks to a state law that took effect last month, students entering grades 7 through 12 will need proof that they received a vaccine for whooping cough.

The law was prompted by last year’s outbreak of the highly contagious respiratory infection, which is also known as pertussis. Nearly 9,500 cases were reported in California, the most in 65 years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Ten patients died; all of them were infants, including nine who were too young to be vaccinated.

Of course, the article fails to inform readers that parents still have the ability to opt out of the shot, just as they can with any other vaccination. That said, I would be concerned about sending my child into the public school these days. Schools are incubators for disease. Not much has changed really. My niece came home with headlice every other week when she attended public school. She had beatiful long hair, but she liked to wear it down – big mistake.

They keep forcing more and more vaccines on children at younger and younger ages. I really think their little immune systems are being overloaded with chemicals, preservatives, genetically modified foods, and with the addition of  vaccines it can be a lethal chemical combination. Yes, we were fearfully and wonderfully made but the body can only take so much abuse.

Grandma always said, “Garbage in, garbage out.”

I’ve had the measles, it was a childhood ritual when I was growing up. Yes, it can cause death, in just about the same number of instances as vaccines do. The difference is natural immunity lasts a lifetime and has no additional side-effects. Death is a fact of life and there are times when we must accept it.

I was concerned because my son never had the chicken pox, even though we attended more than one chickenpox party. Both of my sisters had the chicken pox but I never did come down with it. I was a bit concerned about being exposed but I knew if my son came down with it, the chances were go that I would as well. Fortunately, neither of us did.

As parents we try to use common sense when seeking medical care for our son. All children are not created equal. Some children are pretty hardy and seem to take things in stride. I was vaccinated for everything and I’ve lived with a lifetime of pain that began when I was about 8-years-old. I had another medical crisis immediately following the addition of 14 amalgam fillings to my teeth. I can’t prove it, but I believe I had mercury poisoning.

I learned the hardway that doctors can not be trusted, the FDA does not have our best interests at heart and that actions have consequences. Don’t allow your doctor to bully you. If you aren’t sure how to proceed. Do your homework and seek a second option from someone you trust.

What’s Right With Schools?

We all talk about what is wrong with the public schools but who has time for that?    In reality, it would be a very short discussion if we were to talk about,  “What is right with the public school system?”

Just  today  California Governor  Brown signed SB 48 into law, just one more step into true socialization. Our core values as a nation are under siege and losing ground fast.

Breaking News: Governor Brown Signs SB 48

Moments ago, Brown signed SB 48 and said, “History should be honest,” the Democratic governor said in a written statement. “This bill revises existing laws that prohibit discrimination in education and ensures that the important contributions of Americans from all backgrounds and walks of life are included in our history books. It represents an important step forward for our state, and I thank Senator Leno for his hard work on this historic legislation.”

SB 48 is an attempt to indoctrinate children as young as five to not only accept but also endorse homosexuality through our social sciences curriculum specially history, history books and instructional materials.  [Read more…]

As if  California has money to blow! We are in debt up to  our eyebrows and then some, and our California state legislators want to rewrite our textbooks with more inappropriate material — instructional materials that amount to little more than verbal assault.

When Michigan began mandatory sex education classes for 7th and 8th graders back in the 60’s, the classes were taught co-ed with an even mix of girls and boys. The teacher was a young man, who thought he was God’s gift — he was having a long-term affair with one 15 year-old student and was habitually vulgar  in the classroom. The teacher should have been prosecuted for his lurid behavior – not to mention the bad jokes.

These classes aren’t intended to teach the students any valuable information, though they do manage to pass along a few facts along the way. The real goal of these type of classes are to embarrass students, apply peer pressure and lower the child’s inhibitions.

July 12, 2011, Penny Starr wrote an article, “Time to Stop Talking About the Importance of Teacher Quality,’ Union Chief Says.”

“It’s time to stop talking about the importance of teacher quality. It’s time to start building a high-quality education system by cultivating high-quality educators-from excellent teacher colleges, with ample clinical experience, focused induction, and ongoing professional support throughout a teacher’s career, in an environment that fosters respect.”

The state is continually revising  school textbooks, spending money needlessly, and then have the nerve to cry poverty and come begging the taxpayers for a funding increase.

Our schools should be a reflection of the communities values, not dictated by the state from on high. If those who live in San Francisco or Hollywood want to teach this garbage to their children, they have every right to. The problem is that most of the rest of the state values our children’s innocence. We believe in teaching our children about intimacy, sex and love, when they are mature enough. Introducing this stuff too early isn’t  far from sexually molesting them.

I’m really having a tough time believing that any parent would allow this to happen.

Our governor needs to govern wisely and during a time of economic upheaval is not the time to sign legislation that will force the state to purchase new textbooks. Seriously, you folks in Sacramento need to tighten your belt, just like the families in California are doing right now. The money tree has dried up. Stop the spending and leave something for our children.

Weathering the Storms of Life

Have you heard the latest news on Gun Ownership in the United States?

Household Gun Ownership Hits New Low–Fewer Than One Out of Three American Households Has a Gun

Gun-Free Households are a Substantial Majority, Gun-Owning Households a Shrinking Minority

Washington, DCHousehold gun ownership in the United States has dropped to its lowest level since it peaked in 1977 according to a report issued today by the Violence Policy Center (VPC) analyzing new data from the General Social Survey (GSS) conducted by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago. The GSS has tracked household and personal gun ownership since the early 1970s and, except for the U.S. Census, is the most frequently analyzed source of information in the social sciences.

If this is true – and I don’t believe it is, simply because general distrust of our government has widely increased – wouldn’t it be just a little more conceivable that gun-owners have simply stopped registering their weapons? How do they account for guns sold in those states that have banned the federal registry of their guns? It would be impossible to keep any sort of accurate count in those states.

I know that the schools have done their best to make children afraid of guns and weapons with their idiotic “zero tolerance” policies that have expelled students for using a butter knife. It seems our so-called “tolerant” society isn’t all that tolerant.

What concerns me is what might happen when a major catastrophe hits, when  local government  services break down –  and they always do. Not only won’t you be able to protect your family against looters, but you won’t be able to protect the family cat or dog from a mountain lion either. Mountain lion sightings have become more and more common in populated areas due in part to their growing numbers combined with a shrinking habitat, as more and more houses are built.

All I can say is you better move near a river because you won’t be able to provide meat for your family either. Those without a gun will be at a definite disadvantage in their ability to feed themselves. We have plenty of wild  deer, squirrel and turkey in our neighborhood. If necessary, we could kill, dress and prepare food from the local wildlife in order to sustain ourselves.

When disaster strikes, will you be prepared?
